Traditional platform overlock sewing machines are generally modified with ordinary lock or chain type machines. Due to the structural characteristics of the machine head itself, the maximum speed is generally not more than 3500r/min, and the maximum sewing thickness is not more than 50mm. At the same time, due to the small shape of the feeding teeth and insufficient grip on the fabric, the needle distance is small when sewing thick materials, generally the maximum is about 4.5mm.
Therefore, some users have proposed whether to develop a faster and stronger overlock sewing machine. Therefore, the structure of the presser foot and the feed dog was improved, the cutter and other parts were removed, and the side belt feeding and material guiding device was installed. Since the presser foot of the machine head is raised high, it is easier to place thick materials, and the tooth spacing and height of the feeding teeth are increased, which makes the material grasping more powerful. Traditional models have been greatly improved. At the same time, the feed dog reserves the space for the inlaid rope, which is convenient for customers to add fillers when hemming, making the sewing effect more full.
